HEALTHCARE SERVICE: CLIENT FACING
User Experience - User Interface
Visualize Health
Human Touch
To this day individuals are hesitant to numerous reasons for not actively engaging with their own health. Many reasons surround this issue, however many feel the pain points of impersonal experiences when regarding clinical help.
Closing Gaps for the Patient
The Healthcare Service aimed to enhance existing insurance companies as well as corporate benefit packages in an easy to understand dashboard experience. Most of my efforts included a redistribution of information into a more intuitive experience by reducing down to prioritized data.
Dashboard Experience
Reduce Time to Decipher
By using Atomic Design principals we were able to prioritize content into modular tiles custom to the patient's overall health. This enables the user to now to visualize their health as a panel of needed improvements and status.
Hero Artifact
Claims Reflect patient costs
The largest pain point when a user engages with their insurance company or even a physician is weighing the value of their health and how far off they may be from their 100% mark. By creating a summarized Healthscore the insurance provider is able to accurately determine the user's health risk, breaking it down into impact categories.
Motivate the Patient
By categorizing the user's health he/she is able to effectively understand where improvements need to be made.
Impact of Claims Data
After a doctor's visit a new claim with be administered. The impact is visualized through action tiles displayed via dashboard.
Clinical Goals
Lifestyle Trackers
Clinical Goals
After a claim is filed Clinical Goals become the first priority showing the insurance provider the user is actively improving their health. Most of the actions require communication directly with the physician's office in which results in more claims to legally prove the user's improvement.
Lifestyle Trackers
While Clinical Goals motivate the user to engage more with their physician; Lifestyle Trackers aim to keep the user engaged on a daily basis. Over time accrued consistency impacts the overall healthscore. Trackers do not carry a lot of weight in numerical data but constant effort pays off in the long term commitment to improvements
Reward Incentives
The Extra Push
Reward programs have an effective way of immediately fish hooking users to become instantly engaged because of their impact outside of the targeted area.
"Since you have done so well in completing your goals we want to reward you for your improvements. Keep up the good work"
